My client, a well-known Investment Manager, based near to Cannon Street is seeking to appoint an Equity Co-ordinator on a 6 month FTC basis.
The role of the coordinator team is to provide advanced organisational and administrative support to our Equity Portfolio Managers, Equity Research Analysts and Equity Support teams. The duties performed by the team include extensive diary management, meeting organisation (in excess of 5,000 internal/external and broker meetings annually), complex trip and travel arrangements, printing reports and general administration. The equity coordinator team currently comprises approximately 36 team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Organise broker, company and internal / external meetings
- Schedule, prepare and distribute appropriate information for meetings
- Maintain and proactively manage multiple, busy Microsoft Outlook diaries
- Organisation of complex travel schedules and visas
- Completion of expense reports within departmental guidelines Organise, prioritise and manage daily work load using own initiative
- Effectively handle telephone calls and emails for the Investment team and colleagues
- Liaise extensively and professionally with internal/external contacts
- Print reports and broker research for the Investment Professionals
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate documentation specific to the coordinator department e.g. cover plan for role
- Work effectively within a team and provide cover and assistance to colleagues when required
- Additional administrative requests when required
Experience and Qualifications Required
- Excellent organisation skills and the ability to efficiently multi-task and prioritise workload
- Professional and enthusiastic with a flexible and positive attitude
- Excellent interpersonal skills with clear and concise communication
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrates maturity, diplomacy and discretion
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with both internal and external contacts at all levels
- Conscientious and very detail oriented
- Proven ability to work independently and take initiative as needed
- Must have a high proficiency level with Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, Excel
