Our client is looking for an exceptional private PA capable of supporting at the highest level. This is a position that will only suit someone with no outside commitments who is free for global travel for long periods of time, at the drop of a hat. You must have had at least 5 years’ experience supporting a HNW/UHNW in a private capacity. Make no mistake, this will be a 24/7 commitment, but you will be rewarded financially and gain experience in a unique environment.

Hours: 24/7, six days a week when travelling with Principal. When a free day cannot be afforded to you, you will be compensated with time off at a different date or in other ways

Location: International; homes are located in United States and Europe

Salary: Dependent upon abilities and qualifications of the candidate.

Start Date: ASAP

Languages: Excellent written and spoken English is essential and ideally at least one other European language

Due to the sensitive nature of the position there will be a thorough background check on the candidate.

                                          

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Travel, wherever needed, with or without Principals and assist them in arranging all their needs.
  • Travel in Advance to various homes to ensure that the homes are in running order including: personnel have the necessary uniforms and are clean and tidy; personnel have performed their duties; maintenance has occurred and everything is in working order; market lists for cleaning supplies as well as food and beverage are prepared, bought and stocked; also follow up during her stay to ensure the house is fully stocked and within the pre-established budget; arrange menus with cooks as per her instructions and follow up during her stay; check exterior gardens, flowers, potted plants;
  • Check all clothing closets to ensure the clothes are properly pressed, clean, dusted and if anything is not, correct it.
  • Take dictation and prepare; personal letters, thank you notes, market and shopping list as per Principal’s requests; review expense budgets, update central directory with LA office.
  • Help organize with Principal’s social events, dinner parties, large gathering and special occasions
  • Personal shopping on her behalf: supervise and coordinate with the responsible person of each residence in carrying out Principal’s instructions and follow-up reporting on a weekly basis
  • Plan and coordinate together with Principal her activities and ensure her appointments are confirmed
  • During Principal’s stay supervise, together with the responsible person at each of the properties, that the personnel are performing her wishes; report back any anomalies;
  • Prepare and coordinate the clothing, beauty supplies and office supplies for packing and pack the luggage required; coordinate well in advance with the responsible party at the destination all necessary elements for arrival
  • In the event of a hotel, coordinate with the concierge to arrange whatever is needed as per Principal’s requests
  • Be organized, precise and orderly in filing and in the manner in which to keep and present information
  • Personal representative of the Principal
  • Walk around the properties and personally check, if something is wrong have it corrected
  • Follow Principal’s instructions for the care of her 2 dogs – supervise and ensure that dogs are always attended to, properly fed and that their medications are administrated correctly and on time.
  • Travel with the 2 dogs with or without Principal, at her request

 

Candidates must be / have:

  • Familiar with care for, and packing and unpacking fine clothing.
  • High degree of confidentiality and sense of privacy
  • Diplomatic and empathetic in your dealings with other staff
  • Proactive and attentive
  • Personable with an upbeat cheerful personality
  • Tolerant and able to take criticism when applied
  • Always clean, tidy and impeccably presented
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Able to adapt to different working environments and to deal with people of different nationalities and cultures
  • Excellent telephone manners; show excellent communication skills and ability to command with respect and treat people as you want to be treated; and get the results needed
