My client, a global publishing house based in the City, is seeking a P/T Payroll and Benefits Assistant to join their friendly team, working in the HR department. This is a brand new role, so one that you can truly make your own.

The role will include but not be limited to:

  • Working with the Payroll and Benefits advisor to ensure the smooth running of the administrative processes
  • Ensuring the HR Information System is up to date (Snowdrop)
  • Providing cover for payroll processing in sickness and holiday periods
  • Liaising with employees and external third parties on benefits matters
  • Collate information for payroll and other HR reports and ensure things can be found in appropriate locations

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Excellent organisation skills and immaculate attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
  • Reliable with strong time management skills
  • PC literate – good level of understanding of word and excel

A basic understanding of payroll & HRIS systems would be an advantage along with previous experience working within a payroll and benefits environment.
