A large financial services firm based in the City of London are currently recruiting for an experienced Desktop Publishing Operator who speaks fluent German and Spanish to join their busy in-house presentations unit.  This is an ongoing permanent position working Monday to Friday from 9am to 5:30pm.

This new position will involve the creation and development of large presentations, both amending and formatting to corporate styles.  This role will also include using MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint to an advanced level as well as touching on some more graphics/design based packages such as InDesign and Photoshop.  This financial services firm are looking for a professional, experienced, skilled, and motivated candidate who is fluent in German and Spanish and can carry out the below duties.

The key responsibilities will include but will not be limited to the following:

• Formatting and quality checking documents created in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint to a high degree of accuracy and consistency
• Taking ownership and responsibility for all work in terms of quality, deadline management and working within estimated timeframes
• Generating and deliver high quality presentation material
• Providing technical support to the client base using MS Office
• Ensuring adherence to the specific brand and style manual for template documents

The desired candidate will have the following experience to be selected for interview:

• Advanced skills in MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel
• Have creativity with an eye for design and layout
• Professional, confident and enthusiastic individual
• Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Previous work experience in a financial environment desired but not essential
• Experience of working in document production/design work
• Knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign but is not essential
• Fluent in German & Spanish
