Recruitment Consultant/Support to Consultant
We are extremely excited to be recruiting an additional PART TIME consultant for our Secretarial Division.
Due to growth, we now have this opportunity for a bright, enthusiastic, addition to our team.
Recruitment is a very varied role – although in a consultative manner, ultimately it is a sales role. This position will be a mixture of looking after existing clients and building your own client base in order to earn bonus at the end of the year.
We are offering part time hours – approx 3 days per week 10-4 (this is flexible) and we will genuinely appreciate you contributing your own ideas. In return, we expect you to be self motivated, driven and determined to succeed! A recruitment or sales background would be advantageous but is not essential.
You will work mainly with one other consultant – based in Rochester, Kent and will occasionally be required to travel to the London office (travel expenses paid).
Some examples of day to day tasks are below – however, this is a very varied role and how it develops will largely depend on the skills you will bring to the table.
Day to day:
Advertising Vacancies on behalf of our clients – this means writing the ads from scratch, describing the role requirements to the audience in a way that you attract the best candidates. You will need to have excellent grammar and a flair with marketing/wording will be an advantage.
Sourcing candidates – either by calling and meeting the applicants to your adverts or by thinking outside the box and finding people by other means – such as searching Linkedin/using social media/CV search databases.
Identifying and following up leads in order to grow our business.
Updating our social media with current news
Keeping in regular contact with candidates and clients to build up a relationship-this is something that needs to come naturally to you, we are looking for a real 'people person’ who will be inquisitive and genuinely interested in how our candidates and clients are keeping.
Personality is also very important. Recruitment is a testing career – people will let you down last minute and the industry is fiercely competitive! Can you keep your calm and remain professional when you are under pressure? Can you remain motivated without a manager constantly chasing you? Can you remain driven and focused and not let anything stop you? If that makes you more determined and you are still reading….That’s what we are looking for!

Someone who is pro-active, organised and dedicated, able to take calls out of hours if necessary.
