Our client is currently looking for a hard working, motivated and personable Showroom/ Sales Support Manager to join a pioneering Swedish woven-vinyl flooring brand….

This position would suit an independent and confident decision maker, who can communicate effectively with both architects/ designers and flooring contractors. They are looking for an enthusiastic and commercially minded candidate who is committed to the success of the London showroom and sales support. 


Sales Support 

- Sample orders and sample stock
- Arranging sample deliveries
- Answering incoming calls
- Ordering office supplies 
- Organising national mailouts with new sales material
- Responding to Sales enquiries 
- Written Quotations
- Sales team support; sending images, technical data, etc. as requested
- Updating CRM database 
- Following up on new leads as required 

Showroom Manager 

- Meet, greet and look after all clients into the showroom - either drop- ins or scheduled visitors and update CRM accordingly
- Ensure all samples, display and mock-up areas are immaculate at all times 
- Setting up showroom daily and responsible for locking up at the end of the day
- Housekeeping / Facilities 
- Manage annual showroom budget and monthly report
- Devise and deliver annual showroom plan, including monthly updates and major annual showroom update
- Assist Marketing Manager with adhoc tasks as required eg: Clerkenwell Design Week & Exhibitions


Sales Team Support 

- Assist team with both in showroom and off-site events 
- Arrange catering for events and presentations as requested, breakfast, morning tea, lunches, evening events, invites and presentations
- Ensure excellent product knowledge 
- Schedule, organize, promote and host showroom events and functions e.g quarterly project tours (x1 per month)

Successful applicants will have the following:

•    Exceptionally high level of customer care
•    Experience in customer service
•    Knowledge/ interest in the design industry 
•    Experience using a Mac 
•    Computer skills including competence in Word, Excel and Powerpoint
•    Ability to work autonomously and take full responsibility for the showroom
•    Creative mind 
•    Attention to detail, organised and passionate 
•    Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Key Responsibilities include: 

•    Delivering first class customer service in every aspect of the role
•    Maximising sales by keeping the showroom standards at an exceptional level
•    Handling customer enquiries professionally
•    Supporting the external Sales Team
