A dynamic insurance firm is looking for an Assistant to support the Company Secretary. Fantastic organisation, based in stunning offices in the heart of the City. This is a role will suit a Secretary/Administrator who has operated at Company Secretary level and accustomed to a heavily Board oriented role. Must have extensive minute taking and minute production at Board level and accustomed to chasing information in order to put together the Board packs. Looking for someone who has done regular minutes at extremely high level meetings, such as board meetings and are able to turn them around quickly. Ideally someone who has worked within insurance or professional services environment. Role Purpose: To assist the Company Secretary in the execution of their duties on behalf of all relevant companies within the Group Main responsibilities: Minuting of board, committee and management meetings for a portfolio of companies Ensure that data protection registrations remain in force Ensure corporate organisation charts are up to date Maintain Approved Person records and make timely approved person notifications to &;regulators as required. Assist with the preparation of Board and Committee meeting packs Ad hoc support to Company Secretary as required Ideal experience/skills: A-level or degree educated equivalent Previous experience within a general insurance firm and familiarity with underwriting terms and practice would be beneficial. Previous experience of dealing with corporate and governance matters for firms within the UK and those outside of the UK would be beneficial.
