Business Development Associate within Boutique Investment Firm - Mayfair

I have an exciting opportunity for a switched on, bright, and proactive candidate to join a Boutique Investment Firm in Mayfair.

This is a great role working alongside the Head of Business Development, with duties involving:

*Regular monitoring and tracking of new business wins across the family office and investment management divisions of the group. Reporting on a weekly basis to the CEO and on a monthly basis to the group, in addition to ad hoc reports over the course of the year e.g. For EXCO board reports.
*Assist group head of business development and group finance with securing individual and office targets, create monthly reports for office heads on anticipated annual revenue vs target
*Schedule meetings, produce meeting packs, diarise and minute monthly London, Jersey and EXCO business development forums and quarterly group forums, circulating and following up on actions afterwards
*Produce bespoke pitch presentations for potential new client meetings, including collating slides from multiple divisions within the firm. Draft proposals and subsequent engagement letters for potential new clients
*Attend and minute potential new client meetings with group head of business development and ensure follow up on actions
*Updating template presentations, proposals and engagement letters accordingly and maintain the internal business development page on the hub
*Assist group head of business development with the development of internal training and setting up training sessions for the offices
*Working closely with group head of business development and his personal assistant to diarise potential client meetings and internal follow up meetings on key BD actions. Responsible for meeting room bookings and arranging catering where required
*Assist with the development of new internal CRM software and overseeing its uptake across the group, to ensure new business pipeline leads are entered into the CRM and tracked as they progress, from initial meeting through to EXCO submission and recording signing
*Assisting with the marketing of ad hoc products such as the Exmoor trust company and global best ideas fund, including developing roadshow itineraries and materials, for both internal and external attendees
*Researching potential new clients and ensure world checks are carried out on all new prospects
*Oversee the planning and execution of potential client, existing client and philanthropy lunches, dinners and larger scale events and work closely with group marketing on invitations, seating plans, catering etc.
*Work with group head of business development when inviting attendees to events to ensure yield. Follow up with event outcomes and document these in group marketing's events master spreadsheet, reviewed in monthly marketing meetings. Ensure ROI on all event costs.
*Oversee the alumni programme, including the drafting and distribution of bi-annual newsletters, the planning and execution of speaker events and maintaining the alumni page on the website
*Oversee business development budget and ensure expense authorisation forms are completed for all invoices
*Monitor website enquiries
