THE COMPANY:

Our client is an International Business Communications Consultancy are looking to recruit a HR Business Partner for their busy, dynamic and driven HR Team. Successful candidates will have proven experience in a HR Capacity in the public and private sectors and be enthusiastic about joining a prestigious company.

THE ROLE:

The primary objective of this role is to provide a comprehensive, pragmatic and client facing HR support across the business, a true generalist role.

The role will work in close conjunction with the Head of HR, HR Manager and the HR Assistant.   

Duties will include but will not be limited to:

  • Oversee all areas of the operational HR function, to include employee relations, administration, recruitment and payroll.
  • Implementation and execution of robust off-boarding procedure, to included exit interviews and retention analysis.
  • Conducting disciplinary and grievance meetings with managers and providing guidance on policy and best practice.
  • Provide support and expert advice to key stakeholders, constantly building & developing strong relationship on performance, capability, maternity, paternity and other employee issues.
  • Reviewing Company policies and procedures to ensure HR and managers compliance with evolving employment legislation.
  • Advise and Coach Managers regarding effective and strategic management and team-building, in include advice on addressing team performance and capability.
  • Support the Head of HR/HR Manager in all activities of HR, Recruitment, Learning and Development and also support in Payroll activities.
  • Oversee the Company Induction Programme for all new starters.
  • Input in to add hoc HR projects including as the Values, and Graduate Recruitment programme, benefits
  • Act as a trusted Advisor to managers and staff
 THE PERSON:
  • Proven experience of working in a generalist HR role (minimum as Senior HR Advisor level)
  • Experience of working within PR (desirable)
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels
  • Working knowledge of employment legislation, with the ability to provide commercial HR solutions to Managers
  • Strong team player that can work independently and or part of a team
  • Hands on experience of managing employee relation cases
  • Degree educated
  • CIPD qualified
