This is a reception manager role working for a large international finance company based in beautiful offices in central London. They are looking for someone who has got relevant experience, is professional and a service oriented personality.

Duties
  • Delegating roles and responsibilities to a team of Receptionist and Administration Assistants 
  • Working closely with the Operations Manager to ensure the effective flow of resources throughout the business at all times, adhering to the specific needs of each department  
  • Liaising with office suppliers on a daily basis 
  • Compiling weekly inventories of office stationery and restocking where necessary
  • Communicating with administrative staff in every division of the business to oversee all admin needs
  • Ad-Hoc Human Resource duties including, but not excluded to, recruitment, training of new employees, reference collection, holiday management and updating the company database
  • Meeting and greeting clients, visitors and staff courteously 
  • Arranging temporary security passes for visitors
  • Answering calls affably and efficiently, taking clear and detailed messages when necessary
  • Competent switchboard management 
  • Keeping the reception area tidy at all times
  • Logging, sending and distributing all incoming and outgoing mail, couriers and faxes 
  • Booking meeting rooms and organising refreshments
  • Monitoring levels of and ordering tea, coffee, water and biscuits 
  • Overseeing meeting room schedules 
  • Updating contact database
  • Ad hoc administrative tasks when required
