Team Secretary - Accountancy - West End

Client Details

Our client is well known, very successful, accountancy firm, with great offices in the heart of the West End.

Description

Our client is well known, very successful, accountancy firm, with great offices in the heart of the West End. Working in a fast paced environment and providing administrative support to the PA who supports 2 Partners, and the wider team, your duties will include:

  • Assisting with diary management for the Partners, and wider team
  • Assisting with the filtering of Partner emails, highlighting urgent correspondence
  • Assisting with the processing of Partner expenses, timesheets, and credit card statements
  • Assisting with arranging travel arrangements, itineraries, hotels
  • Arranging meetings and conference calls, internal and external lunches for the Partners and wider team.
  • Providing assistance with the planning of events, meetings and presentations
  • First point of contact for Partners and wider team, from internal colleagues, external clients, and other contacts, answering questions, and routing requests appropriately
  • Drafting email
  • General administration duties - filing, scanning, photocopying
  • Typing letters
  • Drafting engagement letters, and assisting with client set ups
  • Maintaining Excel spreadsheets
  • Audio typing
  • Assisting with post for Partners, and team
  • Assisting with arranging cards, voucher/presents for team birthdays, special events, and leavers
  • Opening and distributing, the post
  • Assisting with overflow calls from Reception
  • Covering the Receptionist (on a rota basis) during lunch or on holidays.

Profile

The ideal candidate for this role will:

  • Have worked in an office environment as a Admin Assistant, Team Secretary or Secretary
  • A secretarial qualification - CILEx or Pitman, would be an advantage
  • Have excellent organisational, time management and multi tasking skills
  • Be a strong team player
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good IT skills - Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

Job Offer

On offer is a salary of £20,000 - £24,000 + bonus and fantastic benefits package
