A Japanese speaking bilingual team secretary is currently being sought after to join an international organisation to provide first-class executive secretarial support to a small team of executive directors.

 

The role involves classic Secretarial / PA duties including diary and inbox management, scheduling meetings, arranging complex travel itineraries, preparing presentations, taking minutes, relaying messages, managing the office supplies and equipment, expense reconciliation, event organising, translation between Japanese and English and liaising with external offices across Europe and Asia in both Japanese and English.

 

Suitable candidates must possess demonstrable secretarial / PA experience from a blue-chip environments ( i.e Banking, Finance, Law or Pharmaceutical , IT ), speak and write fluent Japanese and English, possess seamless multitasking and organisational skills.

 

You must be very flexible, very resilient and have the ability to work well under pressure as this is a fast paced environment with tight deadlines to be met and constant itinerary changes to be amended due to ever-changing schedules.

 

Profile:

  • Fluent written and spoken Japanese
  • Fluent written and spoken English
  • Proven Secretarial/ PA experience from a corporate / blue-chip environment.
  • The ability to work to very tight deadlines in a fast paced environment
  • The ability to communicate clearly and effectively
  • Proactive and committed team player
  • Diligent, flexible and discreet
  • IT-literate: familiar with all Microsoft Office programs and able to learn to work new IT systems and processes quickly
