They provide businesses and enterprises with fast, transparent, easy-to-use secure payments engine that will transform the way organisations move money around the world.
What does the role consist of?
The purpose of the Compliance Team is to oversee all aspects of regulatory and legal compliance applicable to the company. This will encompass but is not limited to the following areas: Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Economic / financial sanctions and Payment Services / E-money Directive.
- Checking and investigating sanctions hits.
- Reviewing and responding to provider bank KYC requests. Assisting in the application and maintenance of provider bank relationships.
- Conducting KYC refreshes of existing clients. Supporting audits of existing clients.
- Conducting transaction monitoring.
- Responding to ad hoc queries from the business regarding specialist compliance matters. Supporting regulatory applications. Maintaining current regulatory licences.
- Proactively suggesting improvements to compliance policies and procedures.
- Supporting data-protection compliance.
- The identification and reporting of suspicious activity to relevant global financial intelligence units.
- Proactively update the sales team with KYC progress that impacts the on-boarding process.
- Ensure KYC paperwork is stored and system updates are completed in accordance with company procedures
What will the successful candidate be like?
This position would suit a recent graduate who is interested in working within a start up environment that is changing the way money moves around the world.
As a recent graduate you must be able to demonstrate some insight into how a cross border payment would operate payments, have some insight into regulatory requirements regarding cross border payments and demonstrate an interest in the FinTech industry.
- Excellent communication skills, written and oral.

- Self-starter, motivated. Ability to develop new processes and implement them.
- Passionate about the benefits of a positive compliance culture.
- Ability to work to deadlines and under pressure
