Commercial Executive- Top Consumer Website

Handle Recruitment is working with a top consumer website to find a bright, enthusiastic Commercial Executive to support the Head of Commercial in their management of the day to day performance of all providers. This is a great opportunity for a candidate of graduate calibre, or equivalent, looking for a varied and interesting position within a fast-paced and exciting business. An understanding of core business and marketing practices and good commercial acumen is essential.

The main responsibilities will include;

• Working with the Head of Commercial to develop action plans to address performance concern
• Proactively challenging and suggesting opportunities to increase competitive footprint
• Working with compliance and editorial to ensure user facing copy and promotions are approved
• Supporting the day to day performance of allocated verticals
• Supporting commercial negotiations through provision of data, insight and market knowledge
• Attending key internal and external meetings to advance understanding into building tactical business relations
• Preparing outstanding presentations for key accounts and have regular evaluations with Heads of department
• Enhancing user experience and increasing conversion
• Some travel within the UK
• Identifying consumer trends to maximise revenue return

The successful candidate must be;

• Able to respond quickly to issues that may arise
• Able to work in a fast, high pressured environment
• Able to manage multiple tasks to tight deadlines
• Extremely organised and have an eye for detail
• Knowledgeable of financial services
• Able to respond quickly to issues and opportunities
