Office Manager - Boutique West End finance firm
We are working on a new Office Manager role at a boutique West End finance firm. Our client has international offices but there are circa 50 in the London office. We are looking for an Office Manager who can proactively co-ordinate the day to day administration of the office to ensure operations and processes run smoothly and efficiently. The role also provides admin support for personnel based in, or visiting the London office. As there are a number of shared responsibilities across the offices and it is a boutique environment, the Office Manager will be required to work closely with the admin personnel in other offices.
Typical office management duties will include building relationships with suppliers, managing office supplies, acting as the first point of contact, coordinating the day to day function of the office, opening the post, ordering groceries and office supplies, maintaining the cleanliness of the office and all typical office admin. The successful candidate will also assist the Global Director of HR with HR support, assist the PA to the CEO, coordinate internal meeting room booking and conference calls, assist Directors with travel bookings and logistics, manage expense claims and cover for PA staff in their absence.
The ideal Office Manager will have previous solid experience and be highly organised and resourceful with a ‘muck in’ attitude. The office hours are 8am – 6pm so we are looking for an Office Manager who is comfortable working in a high pressure, global environment with advanced Microsoft office skills.
