Legal Secretary in Debt Recovery
We have a great opportunity to work for a small but very reputable family law firm working to provide clerical and administrative support to the firm including working as a PA to the firm’s managing partner. They are a really highly regarded well established law firm based in the heart of London. They have a reputation for being a really friendly and progressive firm as well as for working to the highest possible standards. The firm are looking for a really bright, hardworking, committed candidate who is a great team player and will fit in well to their fast paced, ever changing environment.
The ideal candidate will have experience in working with Microsoft systems including Word, PowerPoint and Excel working as the firms go to person for support on these systems. The candidate must also be a social media savvy and lend a hand in the firm’s social media strategy monitoring Twitter and Linked In. The candidate will have an upbeat personality and a great team player as well as being able to help out with any administrative task required in order to help the firm.
Principle tasks and responsibilities
- Answering the front door on occasions, greeting clients, dealing with couriers etc.
- Arranging refreshments for meetings and preparing the boardroom
- Drafting letters
- Saving and updating documents to the case management system, Civica
- Using excel and the case management system to produce ‘Letter Before Action’ letters and sending expiry emails assisting the debt recovery department.
- Photocopying, paginating, scanning and printing – assisting the admin assistant when necessary
- Booking hotel/travel/restaurants/courses
