Marketing Coordinator

I am currently recruiting a Sales Marketing Coordinator for a Promotional Merchandise company based in Shoreditch. The ideal candidate will have a 'get it done’ attitude, with enough confidence to work with colleagues at all levels. The role is very autonomous and there is loads of potential to grow within the role and put your own creative stamp on the business.

As the role requires the individual to work closely with the directors a good understanding of business processes and a sensible approach to tasks is an advantage. In addition, an honest and sensitive approach with a good level of integrity will also be advantageous when dealing with sensitive information.

Candididates must have Marketing experience and Adobe Photoshop knowledge to be considered.

The position involves:

Marketing coordination

• Marketing strategy development and maintenance.

-Brand management.

-Work with directors to plan marketing activities.

-Project manage campaigns from start to finish.

-Keep to set budgets.

• Email marketing

-Design and create marketing emails.

-Email strategy.

• Events

-Project manage client events.

• Social media management

-Manage all company social presences.

• Website maintenance

-Update website and news features regularly.

• Internal merchandise

-Keep track of merchandise stock.

-Order additional items as needed.

-Create artwork for merchandise where required.

Sales and new business coordination

• New business

-Create presentations for pitches.

-Assist with creative product briefs.

-Assist with RFP and tender applications.

• Target tracking

-Collate sales data and compare against target.

• Sales team

-Create visual proofs for clients.

-Book travel and accommodation when required.

Office coordination

• Human resources

-Manage HR online portal

-Monitor sickness and absence.

-Plan internal events and company outings.

• Health and safety

-Ensure health and safety information is up to date and relevant assessments have been completed.

• Administrative

-Assist directors with meeting preparation and minute taking.

-Order supplies and stationery as needed.

Short, medium and long-term objectives

Short

• Create a cohesive social media strategy.
• Ensure recent rebrand is integrated into all areas of the business.
• Project manage pre-existing events to completion.

Medium

• Build social media presence.
• Work on existing marketing strategy
• Improve efficiency and performance of email marketing and integrated communications.

Long-term

• Promote brand awareness of the company brand and any brands acquired under its umbrella.
• Build on marketing strategy as per identified objectives.

Scope for progression and promotion

A newly developed role in the business where the individual could move laterally into other areas of the business if desired or as the company grows this position could expand into a management role.

Required skills

• A good working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign.
• Experience of creating email marketing templates.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 2013, particularly word, outlook and excel.
• Excellent PowerPoint presentation skills.
• Some experience of using CMS and CRM systems.
• Soft skills and personality traits necessary to excel
