A permanent Senior Administrator / Office Manager job in Leeds, £20K - £23K. Mandarin-speaker required.
Your new company
You will work for a prominent and well-known manufacturer in Leeds. This company specialise in the production of electrical equipment which is shipped all over the world. This company is currently enjoying rapid growth and has established lucrative links with some of the UK's biggest retailers.
Your new role
You will be responsible for overall office management while providing administrative support to senior personnel and the general office. The role will initially involve various types of administrative tasks and organisation with the opportunity to grow into a more focussed role, therefore candidates will need to be willing to get involved across all aspects of the business.
You will be ensuring that visitors are met and brought to the correct meeting rooms, handling incoming general phone and email enquiries and booking of travel and accommodation for Leeds and International staff. You will also be tasked with organising meeting rooms, as well as catering/lunches for meetings.
You will take charge of organising stationery orders and office supplies as required and reconciling office invoices and assigning costs to relevant departments, while overseeing the arrival of new starters; desk allocation, access cards/keys, telephone extension number etc.
Finally, you will also be providing ad-hoc PA support to MD and Deputy MD when required.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need to be highly organised and demonstrate excellent time management as well as a high level of attention to detail, strong numeracy and communication skills. You will need the ability to deliver a quality service, efficiently and within required deadlines.
Your friendly and professional manner, and confidence in working with people at all levels in a company, as well as a willingness to help in any departments where required will be key elements to your success within this role.
Finally, you will need fluent Mandarin skills to succeed in this role, as many of the oversees clients, and venues hosting Directors for international conferences and meetings, are based in China.
What you'll get in return
In return, you will be offered a salary between £20,000 and £23,000 and will work as part of a close and friendly office environment. You will also be enrolled onto the company pension scheme. This role will present an excellent opportunity to progress a career in Office Management.
