What the job consists of
As the Programme Development Manager of Taxation, this role is to be responsible for supporting the strategic and operational development of programmes within the Accountancy and Tax portfolio, focussing mainly on Taxation. The main accountabilities will be Course development, people management, teaching and student support and Product Strategy.
- You will be presenting for both public and in-house courses as well as having the ability to teach other areas e.g. financial awareness.
- You will write material for all courses within the Tax portfolio and help freelance presenters with their content development also.
- Create a range of short courses which are commercially optimised and delivered through a variety of mediums.
- Development of product strategy and take an active role in the strategic development process.
- To regularly monitor and review public course outlines and website content
What the successful candidate will be like
- qualified tax accountant with excellent technical understanding of tax
- Familiar with Corporation tax, VAT, international tax aspects and personal tax
- commercially and educationally focussed with leadership and coaching skills
- expertise in teaching modules of Tax courses or willingness to develop expertise
- strong understanding of how PD programmes are used within the Finance field
- ability to translate needs and objectives of the business
- a proven track record of delivering on time, on budget and using own initiative
