Established in 2005 by two GPs who had a vision for improving the delivery of primary care, our clients now work with local teams to run GP surgeries, walk in centres and community based outpatient clinics on behalf of the NHS. They continually strive to provide personalised care in the most appropriate setting, as close to the patients home as possible. Their aspiration is to improve patient outcomes, ensuring that they are able to deliver the best quality care to their patients and real value for our NHS partners. They are expanding their Coordinating and administrating team and are looking for people to join their Little Chalfont based Office.
Your new role
As a booking coordinator you will be responsible for answering all incoming calls where you will arrange bookings for patents, provide general information, produce letters, escalate priority issues, follow up patient calls and general adhoc administration duties. You will also be supporting the team leaders and business managers in the business, so clear and good verbal and written communication skills are essential.
What you'll need to succeed
A confident and clear telephone manner will be needed for this role as you will be working within the call centre team along with the ability to show empathy and patience. You must have a friendly and positive approach to this role due to the nature of the calls you will be dealing with. You will also need to be organised, energetic and self motivating, a good problem solver and a team worker.
