We are recruiting an Editorial Project Coordinator for a quarterly magazine which is highly technical and its target audience is professional quantitative traders
We are looking for a motivated, well-structured candidate who is able to work autonomously. This role encompasses a wide spectrum of tasks around the editing and business development of both the print and online publication. It is somewhat of a hybrid between an organisational as well as editorial position. It requires an all-rounder with a high degree of flexibility. Focal areas will change periodically, depend on the employee's skill set and might be subject to change.
Duties, among others, include researching relevant content and liaising with contributors for the target group as well as managing the full production cycle of the print magazine. Examples of tasks are coordinating the quarterly flat plan, producing smaller news pieces and managing social media channels.
You should be highly motivated to expand the business fundamentals of this newly relaunched publication while collaborating with both the production and sales teams as well as external contributors. You will report to and liaise with management on a daily basis.

We offer you a work environment with high standards of quality, a broad network of industry contacts and a committed team coupled with rewarding economic incentives.
Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree (2:1 or above)
  • High level of initiative, being able to recognise tasks with little instruction
  • Ability to multi-task, self-manage and prioritise sensibly
  • Strong sense for accuracy and meticulous eye for detail
  • Flexibility to changes in the job role
  • Willingness to collaborate with the editorial, production and sales team
  • Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
  • Rational as well as creative thinking combined with pronounced 'can do'-attitude
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (particularly Excel), ideally InDesign
  • Fluency in English essential as well as good numeracy
  • Interest in the technical/financial nature of the publication's content
  • Experience in the print and online media industry

We maintain a strong non-smoking environment.
If you enjoy challenging work in a small team we would love to hear from you.

Salary negotiable depending on experience
