Head of HR
We are looking for a Generalist HR to join a small national advertising company based off Oxford Circus.
This Generalist HR is a standalone position and can be either part-time (any 4 days per week) up to £60k, pro-rated or full time 5 days a week, paying up to £50k depending on experience.
The advertising company is 50 people strong and the London office is lively and buzzing.
The Role:
As a stand-alone Generalist HR you will be part of the management team and you be responsible for setting HR strategy and goals, with a focus on driving a high performance culture. The Generalist HR will identify, design, lead and deliver on strategic, value-adding HR projects, as well as be responsible for covering the full end to end generalist remit of HR. You will take part in various projects, i.e. getting the company accredited by The Time’s Best Companies to work for.
Generalist HR duties:
· Working as part of a senior management team and dealing with senior stakeholders
· Supporting and coaching senior managers in the business to help find solutions
· Identifying training needs, developing and implementing training programmes to improve performance
· Managing staff welfare and benefits schemes, ensuring that they remain competitive
· Leading disciplinary and performance management processes
· Reviewing and improving contracts of employment
· Ensuring that we attract and recruit the best candidates as the business expands
· Improving the efficiency and effectiveness of existing HR processes
· Establishing a successful CSR strategy
· An undergraduate degree, CIPD qualified with stand-alone experience
Desirable experience / skills:
· Working knowledge of NLP and experience in coaching
· Budget management
· Understanding of company pension schemes
· Experience of working in SMEs and/or within media / sales / retail industries
· Implementing strategies and initiatives to become recognised as an employer of choice
