A graduate Assistant Manager is required to join financial services company based in the City. Our client’s preferential degree would be in economics/ law or business. 
The successful candidate will work alongside the Business Development Manager.  The candidate is expected to develop a detailed knowledge of the company markets and service offering in order to produce technical, bespoke quotes and marketing materials and will interact with lawyers, advisors, arrangers and asset owners to promote the company services. The Assistant Manager will soon develop an understanding of the various regulatory, legal (company law), accounting and compliance standards across various jurisdictions.
The Assistant Manager role requires a highly self-motivated, organised and intellectually robust candidate who will be comfortable discussing complex structures and concepts with senior level market participants.
The successful candidate has the opportunity to be proactively involved in a visible role at the forefront of a highly dynamic and rapidly growing business.
Assistant Manager duties:
1.    Quotes: liaise with prospective clients to discuss proposed transaction structure and assess requirements, liaise internally with other departments and jurisdictions to determine appropriate pricing, prepare quotes, answer any follow up client queries 
2.    Marketing materials: take ownership of developing and managing content for marketing literature for distribution through multiple channels
3.    Conferences: schedule, prioritise attendance, budget, identify client calling lists and prepare materials for conferences
4.    Develop client calling lists
5.    Contribute to the preparation of quarterly analysis of new business in accordance with business plans
6.    Transaction management: if required assist local transaction managers in the transaction set-up process from mandate to closing
7.    Undertake ad-hoc research projects
8.    Seek to maximise revenues from existing clients and to work in conjunction with all business areas to identify new opportunities.
This is a role with potential to expand into the following duties: 
9.    Follow up on new business opportunities and set up associated meetings
10.    Develop both existing and new relationships through client meetings and networking
The position pays to £22k and offers career development potential.
