Our client, an international beauty organisation, is now looking for a Customer Service/ Admin Assistant to join their sociable and growing team! This is a fantastic opportunity to join a successful organisation at a very exciting time.
For this position you should be polite and well spoken, while being confident in speaking to board level executives.
As an ambassador of the team you should reflect their culture with the ability to tailor your communication to the appropriate audience gaining credibility amongst colleagues. This involves being bright, friendly and showing initiative.
You will be outstanding at your jobs with no task to big or small and identify ways to make the department run smoother. You will have a flexible attitude as well as a sense of humour, be hard working and approachable.
You must have advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office suite, PowerPoint and Excel, while being experienced in document management and filing systems. Finally you will need to demonstrable an ability to prioritise, organise and complete tasks efficiently.
Your responsibilities in the role will include:
- Respond to all customer service and website queries and enquiries
- Assist with sales orders and sales enquiries that come via telephone and email
- Assist Sales Director with admin tasks, travel booking, emails, expenses and diary needs
- Work closely with the Sales team with regard to all admin duties
- Send out samples to new and existing customers
- Issue mail outs to customers informing them of new products, designs and information when necessary
- Respond to UK and overseas distributor enquiries when necessary
- Support activities that improve profitability and actively identify areas to minimise cost and maximise sales order values
- Occasionally attend meetings to provide support for the sales team
The ideal candidate will have a can-do attitude and be comfortable in a fast paced and multi-tasking environment. It would also be ideal to have at a keen interest in the Beauty Industry and similar experience.
