An amazing opportunity has arisen for an experienced Facilities Assistant to join one of our clients who are specialist in Financial Investments who is a pioneer in its Industry with an international reputation for exceptional service.
We are looking for a Facilities Assistant to work within the exciting and fast paced environment.
Main Duties
- Answering the telephone in a professional and timely manner. Accurately recording telephone messages
- Providing a first class client service by greeting clients at the door, taking coats and showing guests to meeting rooms
- Setting up meeting rooms, providing refreshments and clearing rooms at the end of meetings
- Ordering client and team meeting lunches
- In-house furniture moves
- Assisting Facilities Manager with internal lighting, ad hoc jobs that need to be completed.
- Able to cover Post/Reception during Holidays and Sickness, and ad hoc facilities requests.
- Liaising with Building Manager and Contractors when required.
- Ordering and checking stationery requirements on a weekly basis, delivery to teams (may include some lifting)
- Competence with using switchboards
Person Requirements
- Highly proactive and forward thinking individual with a hard working, committed, flexible and can do approach
- Positive attitude towards work
- Excellent communications skills and telephone manner
- Calm under pressure
- Ability to work with all levels of management and teams
- Must be proactive with ability to think ahead
- Must be a strong team player
- Must be able to prioritise own work and meet deadlines
- Must be aware of confidentiality issues
- Attention to detail a must even in a busy environment
- MS Office: Extensive use of Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel
- Flexible & organised approach
- Degree or A level (or equivalent) preferred but not essential
We are looking for a educated and well-spoken Facilities Assistant who is highly organised. You must have experience working within a financial fast-paced lucrative business and must be immediately available and available for the next 6 months.
My client is looking to conduct interview early next week and is keen to get the right individual on board ASAP.
