A private healthcare organisation is looking to hire a PA to Director of Marketing and Business Development.

The successful candidate will be providing full personal assistance and effective administration support to the Marketing Director that enables them to achieve their goals and personal objectives. This includes diary management, ensuring optimum use of time and acting as a communicator between the Marketing Director, the hospital staff and the team as appropriate.

Key Duties:

  • To provide support to the Marketing Director in all day to day activities, including diary management, phone answering and mail.
  • To maintain a professional, effective communication network across the business including managing the handling, investigation and resolution of issues.
  • To manage invoicing, purchase order and budget allocation for the Marketing team.
  • To work with the members of the marketing team, supporting on key projects as and when necessary, for example assisting in developing the new website.
  • To work as an integral part of the team and develop good working relationships with internal and external customers.
  • User group support - ensure a member of the team attends all user group meetings. Make sure Marketing reports are delivered on time and minutes/tasks are coordinated and filed. Also track the resulting action points for the team.

Skills and Experience:

  • Educated to 'A' level or higher
  • Minimum of 2 years experience for working for a director or senior manager
  • Experience of working for more than one person in a customer or client focused environment
  • Able to prioritise and manage own workload without supervision
  • Excellent attention to detail - the ability to work accurately and focus under pressure
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Proven administrative experience
  • Solid and strong IT skills - proficient PC usage skills including Access
  • Marketing and Private Healthcare experience desirable
  • Minimum of 2 years experience for working for a director or senior manager
