HR Admin / Assistant – NW1 - charity - £23K + bens

 

Our client, an NW1 based charity organisation, is recruiting an HR Administrator to join this expanding team.  Candidates will ideally have some HR experience, ideally a professional qualification and strong interpersonal skills.  You will enjoy working as part of a busy, professional team and have excellent organisational talents and discretion.  Strong written and verbal skills required along with advanced Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

 

Essential requirements within this HR Assistant opportunity include:

 

  • Good standard of education
  • CIPD useful
  • Some exposure to HR administration
  • HR database an advantage
  • Strong IT skills
  • Some knowledge of legislation and best practice
  • Highly organised approach to administration
  • Eye for detail and methodical approach
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Key areas of responsibility within this HR Assistant opportunity include:

  • Key point of contact in department for staff
  • Co-ordinate recruitment and induction
  • Ensure all internal deadlines are met, eg, payroll processing
  • Monitor start and end dates, probationary periods and update line managers as required
  • Keep staff records up to date
  • Work alongside HR administrator on provision of HR cover
  • Ad hoc HR duties
