The Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI) is based near Barbican and is a Government approved inspectorate responsible for the inspection of independent schools, private further education colleges and English language schools. ISI delivers consistent, impartial and robust inspections across a broad range of educational providers.
We are currently recruiting for a friendly and proactive Receptionist/ Office Junior, with a minimum of one year’s office experience to join our team. Please note that you must be available to start immediately.
As our Receptionist/ Office Junior, you will be representing the company on a daily basis. Therefore it is imperative that you have excellent communications skills and can build rapport with clients quickly whilst remaining professional.You must be able to demonstrate that you have experience in dealing with difficult calls and handling sensitive/ confidential materials.
Key responsibilities:
- Filter phone calls in a professional manner, transferring to the correct person and recording electronically concise and accurate messages that are passed on immediately
- Monitor and redirect general address email, ensuring that the mailbox is cleared each day
- Ensure that visitors to the office are welcomed and looked after
- Book meeting rooms and manage any catering requirements
- Manage incoming and outgoing post and parcels
- Set-up and maintain accurate and easily accessible manual and electronic filing systems
- Support Chief Inspector’s PA and the wider admin team as requested
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has already gained receptionist/office experience and would like to grow within a team.
