We have just take on a new role supporting a small team in a Privately-owned property development company based in Victoria. With property portfolios in both the UK and Germany, we are looking for fluent German speakers with proven PA skills to join this small, muck-in team.

There will be occasional travel involved with this role so please do not apply unless you are happy to travel every couple of months if needed.

You will be liaising with their counterparts in Germany as well as with external clients and business contacts so you must be a strong communicator and familiar with formalities in both languages. As well as the traditional travel scheduling and occasional meeting arrangements, you will also be included in all communication between their contacts and expected to keep up with their work. A background in either property investment would be beneficial but not essential although a corporate background would be preferred. The role itself will be varied and give you as much as you are willing to put in. They are looking for enthusiastic candidates who will be able to keep up with the work that the MD does.

They are a really nice duo with different working styles but a good balance and both are keen to find someone who fits the skill set brief as much as fits in with their office dynamic. You would additionally get involved with any of the following and as they have plans to build their portfolio not only may the office expand slightly but the role as well for those that want: Writing letters, checking emails for linguistic accuracy, speaking to their various counterparts and clients/associates in Germany such as banks, property managers, architects, high end international clients etc; attending client meetings and taking minutes; chasing relevant documents and applications such as lease contracts, planning applications, architectural plans, website engineers for each development etc; making sure office systems are updated; some office admin though minimal although potential for an office move in the coming months and just getting a bit creative when needed too!

This is very much a small infrastructure with big ideas and they want someone with that mentality who is keen to take on projects as they progress in the role. On the other hand, there is a great work/life balance as hours are 9-5 and very limited BlackBerry and no personal work to speak of.

Salary will depend on experience and expectations.
