Associate Consultant

We have a great opportunity for a detailed hardworking candidate who is looking for a career in recruitment - who is comfortable to work their way from the ground upwards.

The role itself is hands on and varied - there is a lot of administration (the majority of our consultants come from a PA background so the good thing is they have all done it before as well as having performed this role before themselves) and a lot of people contact which contributes to the diversity of the job. It is essentially to provide support to the consultants and take ownership of the candidate experience with Joss Search.

You need to be super organised and have great attention to detail as there are many candidate interviews to be scheduled both with us and with clients and we provide a lot of nitty gritty detail! We also have a thriving temp desk that requires referencing support and payroll  - both of which involve high levels of concentration as errors in these areas can have repercussions.

There is also involvement in marketing the company and building professional relationships with clients - the role is always always busy so there is never a quiet moment. You need to be proactive and driven and a fast worker.

The upsides of the role are the environment and room for progression. There is no better way for you to learn the ropes and become an established and successful consultant than to organise the nitty gritty around the candidates that come in and our culture is very collegiate. We all work extremely hard and our teamwork is second to none. Every member of staff has done this role and there is an egalitarian, flat structured attitude throughout the business which makes it an enjoyable workplace. There is never a dull moment in the office!
