An exciting contract has arisen for an experienced and qualified IT Project Manager. Our client is a creative E-Commerce business specialising within the Travel and Tourism sector.

General Responsibilities:

Manage project scope, time, quality, and budget to meet objectives and deliverables. Create and communicate detailed project plans, coordinate implementation processes, including progress tracking, reporting, and documentation. Actively lead risk mitigation and management efforts and problem resolution, as issues arise. Facilitate critical decisions with trade-offs between investment, schedule, and customer benefit.

Responsibilities:

Assist in the day-to-day management of multiple project workstreams

 

 Participate in and/or manage tasks throughout multiple project lifecycle phases including project planning, discovery, development, user acceptance testing, release and post-release Liaise with internal business units, affiliates and users, facilitate workshops and document project and communication plans

 

Work with business stakeholders, keeping them informed of any risks and/or issues
Ensure all project tasks are executed within budget, on time and to high standards
Manage risk around project timelines, budget, scope, and quality
Provide day-to-day support and troubleshooting of issues and drive to resolution
Communicate and coordinate fixes and deployments through appropriate technology and business teams
Provide on-going communication of status and risks to management teams internally as needed and garner support for changes in scope, schedule, or budget
Create and implement any required support processes into the existing business
Ensure project documentation and support information is completed to a high standard throughout the project lifecycle
Provide release support through stability and ongoing support of solutions post-deployment to ensure transitions are successful Qualifications

 

Experience

Project management qualification is preferable (PMP, PMI-ACP, PgMP)
Experience of working with product management teams

 

Proven project management experience working with agile development teams in a fsat paced environment
Experience managing small - medium scale international projects
Ability to facilitate the resolution of challenging business/technology problems
Excellent oral/written communication skills
Proven ability to work cross functionally to drive the high level solutions as well as resolve lower level operational issues with experience translating between business and technology Core Competencies

Requirements

  • Must have 5+ years relevant experience with technologies.
  • Ability to work with, relate to, and manage complex business and technical interdependences in order to deliver projects successfully.
  • Knowledge and proficiency with industry and/or project management methodologies and technologies.
