We have a unique new role working for a US owned global city based Investment Bank and Asset Management firm.  A relatively conservative boutique sized firm they are very successful and have amazing offices with impressive 360 degree views of London.

The position the team are hiring for is a combination role which entails coordinating a huge amount of roadshows – around 50% mostly throughout Europe as well as organising client events, so it is a client facing position so you need to be comfortable dealing at this level as well as with senior visiting execs from the US.  As well as this you will be required to assist with processing trades through their system, updating excel documents and the CRM database system with client related information - for this role it is imperative you have EXCELLENT attention to detail.  There will of course be some more traditional duties such as processing expenses, putting together documents ahead of roadshows and on occasion assisting with PowerPoint presentations and as the London office does not have in house IT support you will be the go to person for initial trouble shooting, so helpful also if you are IT savvy.

You will work alongside one other support member who will ultimately take you under their wing and show you the ropes and help you develop your career in the firm, which in the medium to longer term could be a possibility.  The role would really suit someone in the early stages of their career with experience and who can demonstrate experience of pulling together complicated and ever changing travel itineraries.  As mentioned an eye for detail,  strong communication both written and spoken are key as is the ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment.

This is a fantastic and very interesting role that gives you great exposure and the opportunity to grow and develop within a professional and multicultural firm.

The hours during peak periods are around 8am – 6pm but flexible when there is down time, so it works both ways.  The firm are looking to pay up to £35k with great benefits on top.
