PA

An opportunity has arisen for a talented EA to join an outstanding Private Equity team in Mayfair. The role will be supporting a Partner in the firm with further cover for two Principals and an Associate to varying degrees.

This is a temp to perm position, as with all PA roles there, but is very much a permanent role at the end of the probationary period.

This will be a busy role, so you must be adept when it comes to juggling competing priorities and thinking on your feet as well as being able to read between the lines and use your initiative to make decisions without the need for constant direction. There will also be some personal work for some of the guys. You will have proven EA experience and preferably although not essential, a financial services background. You must be adept at handling back-to-back diaries and organising frequent and ever-changing travel. You should also be the kind of person that is always looking ahead to pre-empt clashes and make sure that you are helping him to be fully prepared for any meetings in their schedules.

You must be a team player. The EAs all support each other there and help each other out in busy periods or just picking up their phones if they are away from their desk. There is a great camaraderie there and therefore no room for status-conscious types. Everyone there is flexible with a muck-in, nothing is too much attitude and a sunny disposition.

Hours are 8.30-6 but you should be happy to be flexible in the very busy times if needs be although those hours are realistic.
