Our client, a leading digital and advertising agency based in the heart of Central London, are seeking an experienced, qualified and multi-skilled Facilities Manager to join their team.  This role will be reporting to the Regional Facilities Manager.  The purpose of this role will be to lead the provision of facilities services, coordinate the facilities, ensure excellent service delivery management, take care of operational needs and to maintain client relationships.  There will be integration with members of staff at all levels, external contactors, clients and members of the general public.

The Facilities Manager’s duties will include:

  • The coordination of hard and soft facilities and the upkeep of operational needs.
  • Acting as a point of contact for individual clients (and attending regular client visits) and reviewing the experience delivered to their clients.
  • Working with Service Partners on facilities to conduct ongoing performance management across all services.
  • Undertaking audit responsibilities across all facilities services and reporting as required.
  • Maintaining all technical provisions are within scope of the Workplace Services team.
  • Maintaining a good working knowledge of relevant Health and Safety legislation and undertaking frequent Health & Safety inspections.
  • Ensuring all new starters receive a thorough H&S induction.
  • Ensuring compliance with current legislation.
  • Incident management.
  • Managing the Workplace Services Team, the day maintenance of their operations and their direct reports.
  • To manage the helpdesk queue request. 

Essential skills and experience required:

  • Senior level Facilities Management experience within a creative or digital agency.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and previous experience in client liaison.
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and associated Acts and Regulations.
  • Good standard of IT skills.
  • IOSH Certificate or higher Health and Safety qualification.
  • Experience in managing a facilities team.

Desirable skills and experience required:

  • Strong numeracy skills.
  • Experience in working to ISO standards.
  • NEBOSH
