Our client, a leading and global management consultancy in the application of psychology to business, are seeking a Project Assistant and Client Coordinator.  Roughly one third of their clients are Top 100 FTSE companies.  They operate in multiple UK locations, Sydney Hong Kong, Singapore, Shanghai, South Africa, Mumbai, the Netherlands and the US.  This is an incredibly exciting opportunity for someone with projects experience and a keen interest in occupational psychology.  The client has a fantastically positive work culture, low turnover and a comprehensive benefits package.  They also reward their employees with a discretionary performance related bonus.

The purpose of this role is to be the day-to-day contact for specific clients and projects.  Working alongside the Business Manager, the candidate will frequently be liaising with clients, the occupational psychology consultants and the company’s support functions.  The duties are as follows:

  • Supporting the Business Managers in ensuring the successful running of client accounts.
  • Managing your own clients effectively with the view of taking on more responsibility with successful performance.
  • Working closely with Client Directors and attending client meetings (internal and external) to ensure seamless delivery to the client.
  • Complex diary management and scheduling a large volume of client appointments.
  • Tracking, monitoring and reporting on progress of projects.
  • Ensuring accuracy of client related financial processes.
  • Attending monthly meetings with the finance department and assessing the client profitability.
  • Editing and preparing materials for meetings as necessary.
  • Providing administrative support for client events.
  • Data entry.

Essential requirements for the role:

  • A strong academic background/degree calibre candidates.
  • At least 2 years’ experience in project management (not within the construction industry).
  • Some of this experience to be standalone, where the candidate has taken sole responsibility for specific and significant projects.
  • Superior organisational skills.
  • The ability to prioritise and organise your day.
  • A fast paced nature with a low error rate.
  • A happy and positive character is essential to fit in amongst this work culture.
