We are looking for an experienced and highly professional House Manager/ Chef. You must have at least 3 years’ experience working as House Manager / Chef, and working within a private house. The family have very high standards, you must be prepared to occasional travel to France and the US. This person must be highly organised; able to work under pressure; possess the ability to multitask and have an excellent command of the English Language. Professional appearance, flexibility in attitude and total discretion are of great importance.

Key Responsibilities: 
House Manager 
• You must be a solution oriented problem solver who is responsible for the day-to-day running of the house. 
• In charge of dealing with contractors and maintenance people, errand running and shopping. 
• You will assist in ensuring that all duties are performed in accordance with Household standards. In addition, there will be administrative duties, including purchasing, inventories, stock control and ensuring all documentation is kept up to date as well as liaising with the boarding school and arranging all activities and appointments for one child. 
• You will handle petty cash and daily account. 
Chef 
• You have a genuine interest and understanding of nutrition. 
• As one of the Principals has very special dietary requirements it is essential for this role that you are able to prepare visually pleasing, healthy, well balanced, tasty and flavoursome dishes which are fresh, with no gluten, low in fat and additives. 
• You will be cooking dinners for two the principals in residence and preparing lunch to be heated up by one of the principals for the following day. Alongside you will sometimes prepare lunch for Sunday. 


Working hours: Monday to Friday from 2pm to 08:30pm and occasional weekend work.

You will be working for a busy family in London-Knightsbridge. There is an 11 year old child (who attends boarding school) and 4 young adults who are studying abroad.


Salary: £25,000- £45,000 depending on experience
