Our client, a nationwide science and technology organisation, is looking for a Portfolio Administrator to join them on a 9 month fixed term contract.  This is a fantastic opportunity if you are of graduate calibre who have a significant interest in the sciences and you have working administration experience.   

This role will see you focussing on the coordination and maintenance of licensing rights files and intellectual property within a bespoke database, whilst managing project budgets and identifying business improvement opportunities. 

Responsibilities

  • Administration and analysis of various project and business related processes
  • Maintaining data within the intellectual property and licensing database
  • Supporting the management of licences
  • Updating the clinical pipeline data
  • Maintaining project income budget, including monthly invoicing and support in budget setting and forecasting
  • Assist management in identifying business process improvement opportunities

Skills and experience required:

  • Degree educated or equivalent in science or related subject
  • Advanced knowledge of standard Microsoft packages and databases
  • Self-starter, with an ability to prioritise multiple tasks and work to deadlines
  • Experience within technology transfer or pharmaceutical environment would be a significant advantage
