Our client, a global communications consultancy based in Old Street, is looking for an eager Office Administrator to join their team. The role will be to support the Office Manager in all administration aspects for the business and you will be enthusiastic, willing to learn and naturally proactive.
As the ideal candidate, you will be enthusiastic and bright, able to use your initiative and keen to learn and progress. This role will be on a 3 month temporary basis with possibility of extension, with the view to turning permanent thereafter.
Responsibilities will include:
- Reception: answering calls, meeting and greeting, handling post, organising meeting room bookings and catering/refreshments where required.
- Team PA: Booking flights and hotels, scheduling meetings and other ad-hoc requests
- Finance team admin: printing invoices and assisting with payment enquiries
- Facilities: Organising maintenance work where required, liaising with the facilities team about repairs/outstanding works, liaising with sub-tenants occupying the office space
- Health and Safety: Carrying out inductions for new starters, maintaining relevant H&S records and attending quarterly committee meetings
